CTG Releases Part Two of Smart IT Guidebook

The Center for Technology in Government has released Part Two of its guidebook called "Making Smart IT Choices: Understanding Value and Risk in Government IT Investments." CIOs and project managers now have access to an array of skills, techniques and tools useful for getting the information needed to make sound technology investment decisions.

"With competition for IT funding at an all-time high, doing a thorough up-front analysis of potential IT projects is more important than ever," said CTG Director Sharon Dawes. "Smart IT's tools section provides specific methods that can add crucial information to both large and small IT investment decisions."

The guidebook is an all-around resource for leaders of new e-government projects. Making Smart IT Choices is part of a series of resources available at CTG's Web site.
