Goldberg (left) Receives Award From State CIO Clark Kelso -- Goldberg, who retired last year after 25 years as the California Franchise Tax Board's (FTB) executive officer and who oversaw many FTB advances in information technology -- was honored during GTC West last week with one of two "Awards for Innovation and Vision in Government." During his tenure, electronic tax filing began as a pilot. Today, most taxes are filed electronically in the state.
