Chandleraz.gov Gets Cyber Facelift

Easy-to-use navigation, online bill payments, city information and a new look

The City of Chandler's Web site launched a new look today. The City is calling it a "cyber facelift." Visitors will find that changes to the site are mostly cosmetic. However, the site still features excellent e-Services, intuitive navigation and tons of useful and timely information.

The site offers more than just brochure information. Chandler has a number of interactive services that are available 24-7. Residents can pay their utility bills, register for recreation classes, and apply for City jobs -- all from the convenience of their home. Local businesses can apply for licenses and pay their sales tax online.

In the last year, Chandler has enhanced its Web site with a number of new Web services, including:
  • Streaming video -- Council meetings and other Chandler Channel 11 programming can be accessed live or through archives via the Web site.
  • Online job applications -- There is no need to fill out a paper application. Those interested in working at the City can track their recruitment process on the Web.
  • Wireless access -- Chandler's site can be accessed a little easier thanks to a recent agreement that will provide wireless access throughout the City in the coming months.
