City of Memphis Rolls Out New Online Support Center

New online support center is way for Memphis citizens to connect to local government

Now when motorists in Memphis drive through a pothole, or when the traffic lights are flashing they can notify the city through the new online support center. This online service, through the city's Web site, is designed to take care of all kinds of complaints. Curbside trash, high weeds in vacant lots and abandoned vehicles are just a few of the things that can now be reported directly to the city.

Along with reporting problems, and requesting services, people will be able to track their requests. When a request is filed, it is given a tracking number. Then the concerned citizen can use the number to see when a city representative plans to investigate or take care of the request.

"I know our Online Support Center...will prove to be the greatest improvement to citizen service that we've seen in many years," says Dr. Willie W. Hereton, Mayor of Memphis .
