The project consists of the following: a. Construct Office Facility, complete with utilities, earthwork, asphaltic pavements, concrete payments, gates, fencing, landscaping, mechanical and electircal systems. The structure is a wood framed, masonry veneer building. Other work includes (but is not limited to) concrete slabs and foundations, flag poles, wood trusses and sheathing, standing seam roofing, insulation, casework, gypsum wall board, painting, vinyl composition tile flooring, carpeting, ceramic tile, wood windows, steel doors and frames, an accordion folding door, suspended acoustical ceilings, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, lighting, a public address system, HVAC equipment, ductwork, applicances, plumbing and plumbing fixtures, power and telephone service. b. Provide all earthwork, clearing and grubbing required to create a building pad for the Storage Facility. Construct the Storage Facilities complete with utilities, pavements, exterior concrete, mechanical and electrical systems. Other work includes (but is not limited to) concrete slabs and fundations, wood framed walls, masory veneer, wood trusses and sheathing, standing seam roofing, insulation, wood windows, gypsum wall board, painting, resilient base, overhead doors, steel doors and frames, lighting, public address system, unit heaters, plumbing, power and telephone service. c. Construct concrete slab, foundations to provide and erect pre-fabricated steel radio tower. There is a $15 non-refundable charge for the plans and specifications(checks only will be accepted). This is a total small business set-aside under NAIC code 23320 defined at $27.5 million. A site visit is scheduled, interested bidders should meet at the Cedar City Interagency Fire Center, 1748 West Kittyhawk Drive, Cedar City, UT 84720 at 10:00 am on June 4, 2002. Solicitation package will be uploaded to FBO on May 20,2002. MODIFICATION: The site visit will not be held on June 4, 2002. The new site visit date will be in the solicitation.
