FCC Issues Final Rule on 800MHz Public Safety Interference Proceeding

On Nov. 22, 2004, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) published in the Federal Register the final rule implementing the 800MHz Public Safety Interference Proceeding (commonly known as the Consensus Plan). The major barriers to implementation have been resolved.
