Caliper Corporation will provide web-based GIS software that will allow users to import data and be maintained directly from one or two proprietary database formats, which will be directly linked from the "Maptitude for the Web". The "Maptitude for the Web" is the only software that will allow users to import data directly from both proprietary database formats. Because Caliper Corporation has developed and is the only distributor for the "Maptitude for the Web" they are the only known source that can provide the software for their product. Caliper Corporation is the only commercial contractor who is authorized to make any modifications to their software. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is 4/11/2002.
