Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is scheduled to deliver a "State of Technology in Florida" address at this year's annual ITFlorida Awards Gala and Tech Forum at the Walt Disney World Contemporary Resort in Lake Buena Vista, August 12-13. Joining Gov. Bush during the two-day event will be several members of the Florida Legislature, key technology leaders, and several hundred IT executives and professionals.

The Awards Gala will bring together Florida's IT leaders from both the private sector and government to honor the innovative contributions of individuals and businesses that have significantly contributed to the advancement of information technology for Florida.

The Tech Forum will provide an opportunity for Florida's technology leaders to report on the accomplishments of the various regional tech sectors across the state. Each region will showcase its achievements and provide information on trends and developments for its area.
