Governor Schwarzenegger Appoints Mangrum to Corrections IT Post
Has served as CIO at GSA Office of Technology Resources
James Mangrum, 41, of Carmichael, Calif., has been appointed assistant secretary for information technology at the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, according to a release from the Governor's Office. Mangrum has served as CIO and deputy director for the Office of Technology Resources at the Department of General Services since 2004.
Previously, he served in the Office of Technology Resources from 1996 to 2004 in a variety of capacities, including office chief and as operations manager for Web and application technology, end user support services and Web services.
