Indiana County, Penn., has agreed an agreement with Tyler Technologies Inc., to obtain the company's MUNIS financial management software solution. The deal, which includes products from the MUNIS financial, human resource and revenue suites, will enable the county to integrate information across all facets of its operations, replacing its limited DOS-based legacy system. In addition, Tyler will provide Indiana County with all associated professional services, as well as ongoing maintenance and support. "Our objective was to secure an ERP vendor that had public-sector experience," said Indiana County Chairman, Rodney D. Ruddock, "and would be compatible with the county's future technological direction. Tyler and its MUNIS system fit these needs precisely."
