Description: Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Tacoma School District No. 10, 3321 South Union Avenue, Tacoma, Washington 98409, for the Intercom Improvements at Various Locations. Bids will be received on APRIL 11, 2002, AT 2:00 P.M. Estimated construction cost: $500,000.00. Bidders may tour schools on April 4 and 5, 2002, from 2:30 p.m. through 4:00 p.m. Drawings and specifications may be examined at the following plan centers: Construction Market Data - Renton & Kirkland, The Builders Exchange - Everett, Associated Subcontractors - Tacoma, Construction Data - Seattle & Tacoma, Valley Plan Center - Kent, Eastside Plan Center - Bellevue, Olympia Plan Center - Olympia. Drawings and specifications may be obtained at Ford Graphics, 632 Broadway, Tacoma, WA 98042, (253) 383-6363, upon depositing the sum of $50.00 payable to Tacoma School District No. 10 for each set of documents. The full amount of the bid deposit will be refunded to actual contract bidders on return of the drawings and specifications in good condition, within ten (10) days of bid opening. Bid sets will be mailed upon request and after receipt of a non-refundable $10.00 shipping and handling a fee paid to Tacoma School District. The Tacoma School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. The right is reserved by the Tacoma School District to postpone contract award for the period of thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The Tacoma School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
