Kabul dispatchers handle their first call
The first Communications Center in Afghanistan opened last month, with training curriculum for the dispatchers provided by the APCO Institute. The Kabul City Police (KCP) Emergency Communications Center opened on July 16 with a ceremony lead by Kabul City Chief of Police, General Jamil Jumbesh. Over 100 police, civilians, foreign delegates, and new emergency telecommunicators attended the event.
