Kentucky's State Board of Elections launched a new Web site. The newly designed Web site offers election and voting information in an easy-to-use, accessible format. Kentuckians can find information on registering to vote, absentee ballots, changing voter registration information, and conducting a voter registration drive. Citizens can also find their precinct location and legislative districts, view election statistics and laws, and access an election calendar, among other things.
"We are thrilled to offer this new site to the citizens of Kentucky," said Secretary of State Trey Grayson, Chairman of the State Board of Elections. "We are particularly proud that the Web site's format follows accessibility standards and will allow more citizens to access the many resources found online."
The new site was built by the Board in partnership with Kentucky.gov, which also built and maintains the commonwealth's official Web site.
