Kentucky State Police Installing PacketCluster Patrol Software

BIO-key International Inc. was awarded a $320,000 contract to install its PacketCluster Patrol software in 250 Kentucky State Police mobile units as part of a state contract awarded to InterAct Public Safety Systems.
PacketCluster Patrol provides law enforcement officers with fast, secure access to local, state and national databases using the most advanced wireless capabilities available today, including 3G support for high-speed data access such as 1xRTT and GPRS networks. Officers can retrieve vital information such as motor-vehicle records and warrants in seconds. The software also gives officers real-time communications via text messaging.
