Kentucky's New Web Site Calculates Personal Savings from Tax Cuts

By using a new Web site, Kentuckians can see how much money they will save in taxes if Gov. Ernie Fletcher's tax modernization plan becomes law.

The Web site allows residents to calculate their tax savings by entering minimal personal financial information.

In addition to the personal tax savings calculator, the Web site includes details on the tax modernization proposal and a comprehensive white paper explaining the issues being addressed by the tax plan.

The tax savings go into effect only if the governor's proposal is approved by the Legislature and made law.
