King County's Web site has won awards, but the county wants its Web pages to be even more user-friendly and is looking for volunteers to surf its Web site and offer suggestions for improvement.

The county is inviting people who consider themselves to have novice to intermediate Web skills to apply at http://www.metrokc.gov/webpub/quest/. Evaluators must be King County residents.

"The Web gives people access to their government 24/7, and it is our job to make sure the county's Web pages are easy to use," said King County Executive Ron Sims. "Our Web site motto is 'always at your service', and we need frank feedback from people to make sure we deliver on that promise."

The county's Web site has earned numerous awards, including the Center for Digital Government's Best of the Web for being among the top five county Web sites in the United States.
