NYC TV Wins Eight New York Emmy Awards

"NYC TV's mission is to make New York City -- both government and the city itself -- more accessible"

Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg last week congratulated NYC TV, the official TV network of the City of New York, on winning eight New York Emmy Awards.

"Today, all New Yorkers can take pride in the achievements of NYC TV," said Mayor Bloomberg. "Not even two years old, the network has already established itself as a valuable resource in our efforts to attract regional tourists, support local businesses, and provide New Yorkers with valuable information about our great city. The eight New York Emmy awards show that NYC TV is also quickly gaining recognition from its peers in the industry as well."

"NYC TV's mission is to make New York City -- both government and the city itself - more accessible," said Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications Commissioner Gino Menchini. "Winning eight New York Emmy awards clearly demonstrates that NYC TV is producing high-quality programming that both critics and New Yorkers enjoy and appreciate."
