New York City Council Committee on Technology to Meet June 21
At 1 p.m. in City Hall Committee Room
The New York City Council Committee on Technology will hold an oversight hearing June 21 at 1 p.m. in the City Hall Committee Room. The hearing, entitled: "Oversight: How City Government Can Support the Development of New York City's Information Technology Industry," will feature Bruce Bernstein, executive director of the New York Software Industry Association with an overview of the NYC software/IT industry and the importance of high-tech economic development. A cross-section of CEOs from local IT companies, academics in the IT field and venture capitalists have been invited to testify.
