The Official State of Georgia Web Portal is dedicated to providing Georgia constituents the best web experience possible. In accordance with Governor Sonny Perdue's desire for georgia.gov to be ranked as one of the top state portals in the nation, GTA's Portal Division has been redesigning current portal websites, adding new features to existing websites, and integrating new agencies into the georgia.gov portal structure. All of this is part of the vision for Georgia constituents to have access to all their state government needs from one central location. To that end, GTA's Portal Division is proud to announce the following new additions to the georgia.gov portal:
Office of the Child Advocate Dedicated to assisting, protecting, and restoring the security of children whose well-being is threatened.
Georgia Interagency Safety Advisory Council Focuses the attention of state government on the importance of employee safety and the need to reduce risk in government workplaces.
GBI's Department of Forensic Science Furnishes scientific support to the Criminal Justice System of Georgia.
Georgia Land Conservation Program Works to preserve a statewide network of land and water resources for current and future generations to use and enjoy.
GTA's Portal Division has also redesigned the website for the
Office of the Lt. Governor, Casey Cagle's portal website.
