Description: Proposers for Bid F02-046 Offsite Media Storage Extension of Due Date: Please extend the due date to Monday 3/25/2002 at 2:00 p.m., PST. Questions: The attached questions and clarifications are issued as addendum #1 to the bid F02-046 Offsite Media Storage Please include this information in preparing your bid responses. Questions submitted and Answers What is the weekly volume of media? Our current volume is approximately 16 volumes per week. Do all of the weekly volumes have one- (1) month retention? Yes. What is the monthly volume of media? The current monthly volume is approximately 16 volumes also. Do all monthly have a 7-year retention? At this time all of our monthly media has a 7-year retention requirement. However, that may be subject to change. Can long term media be slotted? If you are maintaining a tape library, then the media may be slotted. Please provide a complete list of media that is currently being stored? There are approximately 250 volumes of assorted types of media being stored by our current provider. We, through this RFP, desire to explore other options and methods of data storage. Please provide pricing on a per volume/per slot basis, as well as any other pricing structure that you may use. The City will work with the successful vendor to discuss the options that will best service the City's operations. Please provide information about your current provider, and a current invoice if possible- The City is currently using Iron Mountain. I do not, however have current invoices to send to you.
