Property Records Industry Association Posts Update to Request and Response Standards

Relates to XML that was not properly declared in version 2.4.1 and some changes in cardinality that parallel recent changes approved by the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO) for their envelope structure.

The Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) announced today that it has posted the proposed version 2.4.2 of its Request and Response DTD standards for a 30-day review period. The purpose of the review period is to allow individuals and companies to examine the proposed standard and disclose any patent and/or intellectual property rights infringements believed to exist prior to final publication.

The updates in the affected DTDs relate to XML that was not properly declared in version 2.4.1 and some changes in cardinality that parallel recent changes approved by the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO) for their envelope structure. A README file is included in the download with additional details.

The review period runs through August 30, 2007. Specific questions can be directed to the PRIA Technology Committee Coordinator at technology@pria.us.
