Description: Sealed bid proposals will be received in the business office in the Lawrence Township Public Schools Administration Building, 2565 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, New Jersey 08648, untilApril 26, 2002 at 3:00 P.M. (Prevailing time)at which time bids will be opened, read aloud and recorded for presentation to the Board. The Board of Education assumes no responsibility for delays in the mail or delivery service causing the bid to be received at the Business Office no later than the due date and time. Bids must be Accompanied by A Certified Check, Cashier'S Check, Official Bank Check or Bid Bond Payable to the Lawrence Township Board of Education for not Less than Ten (10%) of the Bid Amount. Said 10% not to exceed $20,000.00 pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24. Bids must be Accompanied by A Consent of Surety in the Form of A Letter or Certificate. said Consent of Surety shall State that it will Provide the Bidder with A Performance and Labor and Materials Payment Bond for 100% of the Contract Amount. Bidders are required to comply with requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27). Bidders are required to submit a Chapter 33, P.L. 1977, Ownership Affidavit and a Non-Collusion Affidavit. All public works contracts in excess of $20,000 require bidders to possess a Notice of Classification issued by the New Jersey Division of Construction and Property Management pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34::11-56.25 et seq., successful bidders on projects for public work shall adhere to all requirements of the NJ State Prevailing Wage Act.
