The Michigan Department of Information Technology (MDIT) in cooperation with the Michigan Department of Management and Budget (DMB) will host the 2006 State of Michigan IT Suppliers Forum on June 28. Those attending will learn about the state's technology vision and direction, new processes for suppliers to market IT services to the State of Michigan as well as the impact of the Michigan Strategic Plan.
Topics for the informational session include:

- Announcement of New IT Procurement Programs
- Doing business with MDIT & DMB
- Networking Opportunities for Suppliers
The event will take place June 28 at the Livonia Schoolcraft College VisTaTech Center and is free of charge. Featured speakers for the IT Supplier Forum include: Teri Takai, CIO, Director, Michigan Department of Information Technology and Lisa Webb Sharpe, Director, Michigan Department of Management and Budget.
