The site also allows users to search for specific properties and provides the most up-to-date property information regarding zoning, elevation and utility information, which is ideal for a resident buying a new home or a town official considering new developments and making expansion decisions.
"Since 1989, the Town Council has been working with the Technology Services department ...to link Cary citizens and employees more closely with their local government," said Mike Mull, applications manager, Town of Cary. "The first phase of Maps Online far surpassed our expectation for functionality and flexibility. We have additional plans to upgrade the site and make it an even more invaluable asset."
