Description: 02-02 Bookstore Management System. Description: The college is seeking a package to provide a back-office computer system that will manage all bookstore activities; including maintenance of a perpetual inventory at the item lever, support of accounting modules, and a point of sale application. Also required are support of bar code scanning, price look-up, credit/debit card authorization with automatic capture, and transaction reporting. Bookstore system must be capable of interfacing to the college's Student Financial System. That system is a commercial product called Colleague, provided by Datatel (ability to interface must be confirmed by Datatel). System will have to support and interface with existing used-book buyback agreement with the Nebraska Book Company.
