Description: Request for Proposals Department of Health & Social Services Division of Medical Assistance Request for Proposal # 2002-0600-3012 Medicaid Management Information System (Mmis) and Fiscal Agent Services for the Administration of the Department's Medicaid (Title Xix) and Medical Assistance Programs. The Department of Health & Social Services Division of Medical Assistance (Dma) is soliciting proposals from firms who have seasoned knowledge and experience in medical claims processing through a Medicaid Management Information Systems or other equivalent large claims processing system. The contractor will provide and operate a Mmis or claims processing system capable of meeting Federal certification requirements. The contractor shall also provide a Decision Support System (Dss) capable of providing a broad range of administrative and management reporting. The contractor will also provide fiscal agent services including but not limited to provider relations, claims receipt and adjudication, prior authorization, provider inquiry, drug rebate recovery and other services as outlined in the RFP. This is a multiyear contract (8-10 years). This Contract shall cover the procurement of a Medicaid Management Information System (Mmis), Decision Support System (Dss) and Fiscal Agent Services.
