Project Dashboard Rolled Out For New York Local Governments

"The Dashboard has been populated with information regarding funded projects in the planning or requirements phase with potential impact on local government"

April's New York State Enterprise from the New York State Office of the CIO, outlined a new project to inform the state's local governments of projects that may affect them.

"The New York State Information Technology Strategic Plan calls for a new initiative to identify ways for the state's local government partners to obtain key information about projects that impact them," said the Enterprise. "To help promote communication and awareness for key projects, the CIO's Office Intergovernmental Communication Committee developed a high level IT Project Dashboard. Thanks to input from many agencies, the Dashboard has been populated with information regarding funded projects in the planning or requirements phase with potential impact on local government."
