Nominating Process
To nominate your technology leader prepare a narrative document that includes each of the following:
- Provide examples of leadership and strategic vision as they relate to technology in local government;
- Cite successful technology achievements or programs that your nominee championed and/or implemented over the past year;
- Highlight how your community has benefited through the technology leadership of your nominee. This should include any success measures (jobs created, enhanced services, new revenues, financial savings) in your jurisdiction resulting from the technology leadership of your nominee.
- Identify your local government's population category (small, medium or large).
A panel of judges selected by PTI will review all the nominations and select the winner in each category. Each nomination will be reviewed based on the criteria cited above. In the event a category does not receive submissions worthy of an award, none will be given.
