Ponca City
For Ponca City -- a community with a population of approximately 20,000 -- OneGIS implemented the ArcFM Solution for Electric, Water and Sewer with ArcGIS 9.1 on Oracle Spatial 10G. The new enterprise spatial database is intended for use by all departments at Ponca City. In this new environment, the landbase data will be edited using AutoCAD Map 3D, while facility data will be created and edited using the new ArcFM Solution. In addition, the OneGIS EA Interface was deployed to automate the process of creating import data for the client's Milsoft Windmil engineering analysis software.
Tri-County Electric Cooperative of Azle, Texas
Tri-County Electric Cooperative is an electric company serving approximately 67,000 customers in the greater Fort Worth area. Tri-County contracted OneGIS to implement the ArcFM Electric solution to replace their existing CAD-based mapping system. As with Ponca City, OneGIS implemented the new GIS with integration in mind, building an interface to the client's ATS customer information and billing system. Also deployed was an interface to a third-party field-viewing application.
Commenting on the successful completion of these two projects, OneGIS President Chris Cirillo said, "We are grateful for the opportunity to provide our services to Ponca City and Tri-County Electric Cooperative and are pleased to be able to add them to our list of clients with successful GIS installations. Projects like these go a long way to highlight the breadth of our consultants' knowledge base, our responsiveness to the needs of our clients, and the value we bring to GIS implementations. We will continue to strive to expand the scope of our services while sticking to our one solution, one platform approach."
