O2 Secure Wireless Launches Mobile Wi-Fi Internet Service

New Reactor line provides access to 3G cellular networks for Wi-Fi users.

O2 Secure Wireless, Inc. is launching its new mobile wireless internet products and services line, Reactor, designed to provide high-speed, secure wireless internet connectivity for workers on the move and users traveling in limousines, taxi cabs, and mass transit systems.

"Our Reactor line has been in development for over a year, and we are excited to now release such an amazing set of devices," said Craig C. Sellars, chief technology officer for O2 Secure Wireless. "The Reactor combines our strength in Wi-Fi with our ability to successfully push the technology envelope, and it serves to broaden the market for our high-powered wireless services."

The products, available directly from O2 Secure Wireless, are integrated devices that utilize cellular 3G internet and data services and provide connectivity by bridging those networks to the industry standard for wireless networking: Wi-Fi.

The primary Reactor product is designed to serve cost-conscious transportation operators as they work to distinguish themselves in the increasingly competitive marketplace. Other Reactor models are designed for portable, on-the-go use.

"We are excited with the interest expressed by owners and decision makers in the market," said Aaron King, executive vice president of sales and marketing. "They see a real opportunity to leverage the service with their corporate sales strategies, and are eager to launch the service in their fleets."
