Expanded operations in Hyderabad serve key customers and accelerate company's Wi-Fi Mesh, WiMAX and MeshMAX product development.
Proxim Wireless Corporation has announced that it has opened a new facility in Hyderabad, India to accelerate the development and deployment of its Wi-Fi mesh, WiMAX, and MeshMAX? product lines and to support its burgeoning Indian customer base.

Proxim Wireless chose Hyderabad, the fifth largest city in India, as the location for its new Center because it is the emerging IT hub in India and, as such, gives the company access to the area's highly skilled and cost-effective technology workforce. Kishore Gandham, a company veteran, has relocated from Proxim headquarters to Hyderabad and is heading up Center operations. The Center is expected to grow to a staff of 60 employees by the end of the year.
