There is a Huge Tsunami Threat on the West Coast

These don't just happen elsewhere in the world!

I've found it interesting that there is little interest in what the risks and hazards are on the West Coast. If you asked the "general population"of the United States they would likely list wildfires because they are in the news.

Earthquakes outside of California are relatively unknown and a possible volcano eruption is not on everyone's minds either.

Here's a refreshing story on the Tsunami threat and also the potential for a massive loss of life, The Tsunami Could Kill Thousands. Can They Build An Escape?

These elevated platforms, should they ever be built "before" an event, are designed for the local population and not when there is a Kite Festival at Ocean Shores or the Long Beach Peninsula. here in Washington State.
