"Georgia's young adults have shown an intense interest in the 2008 General Election," Handel said. "The iVote Web site directly targets this demographic and provides them with information to make sure they are prepared to vote and take advantage of available resources to fully engage in the process."
Interns working in the Secretary of State's Office during the summer of 2008 designed the iVote Web site, and Handel thanks them for their hard work. Those students are Karlos Emmanuel of the University of Georgia School of Law; Monique Ewing of Georgia State University School of Law; Meaghan Frankish of Georgia Southern University; and Lauren Potter of Agnes Scott College.
