For nearly a decade, the Stockholm Challenge Awards program has helped promote and develop best-practice ICT projects around the world. A joint initiative with the Global Knowledge Partnership (GKP) in 2007 has resulted in 119 entries and nine finalist projects in Public Administration, Education, Economic Development and Culture focused on the role of multi stakeholder partnerships in ICT for development.
The finalists will be sponsored to travel to the conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia December 10-13. The winners will be announced and all finalists will exhibit their projects and share ideas with attendees. GKP projects will also be entered into the Stockholm Challenge Awards program which culminates next May in Sweden.
