Former Clinton Administration Official joins e.Republic's IT Research Institute

A popular guest speaker in the U.S. and throughout the world, she has lectured at many prestigious universities, including Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.

Kate Hirning, former President Bill Clinton's E-Government deputy director, has joined Government Technology's parent company e.Republic as vice president of industry services for the Center for Digital Governmentand Center for Digital Education. In this role, she will help drive the expansion, strategic direction and development of the Center's industry intelligence programs.

Hirning's career spans both public and private sectors, as a business consulting services executive for IBM Global Services, and senior vice president for Jefferson Consulting Group. A popular guest speaker in the U.S. and throughout the world, she has lectured at many prestigious universities, including Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. She was also named as one of the Top 100 IT experts in the federal government by Federal Computer Week.
