I do think they missed a key question that I have spent a great deal of time on--that being the chair! The chair I think is more important ergonomically than any other aspect of the workstation that you provide people who either work in your "watch center" or in your Emergency Operations Center (EOC). If the chair isn't any good--you can fatigue very quickly.
And yes, it is possible to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a workstation. Personalized heating and cooling, multiple desktop heights and keyboard configurations drive up the costs fast.
