Quote of the Week: Bee or Mosquito?
"It's not so much how busy you are, but why you are busy. The bee is praised; the mosquito is swatted." O'Connor I've written about the use of time before. I call it the only absolutely non-renewable resource we have. Therefore, how you spend your time is critically important. As I've transitioned to the private sector I've spent some time reflecting on what is the best way to spend my time. Much of my time has been spent since joining ICF in business development. The other thing to be done is of course project management. In doing business development, what is the most important thing to spend one's time on? Is my personal and work time spent on blogging worth the investment? I encourage you to reflect on if your being busy means that you are a bee or a mosquito? I'm assuming we all aspire to be bees. Now where is that honey?
