Quote of the Week: Dead Armadillos...

"The only thing in the middle of the road is yellow lines and dead armadillos." A Texas Politician I've actually seen a picture of a dead armadillo in the middle of a road that has been freshly painted over with yellow lines. I believe that it came with a statement about quality.

What this quote is all about is having passion for what it is that you do. If someone asked me about my passions the list would include: disaster public education, regional collaboration in emergency management, working with the media, networking, public speaking, sharing what I know, my personal religious faith/church, gardening, and maybe motorcycles. My question for you is, "What are your passions?" Can people tell what they are by the way you conduct yourself? If we can't be the smartest person on the planet, we can at least be passionate about life and how we live it. Let your passions show, and don't get caught in the middle of the road!
