A Different Type of Commodity Report by FEMA

Not your normal hurricane response listing of supplies.

As FEMA kicks into high gear when they are responding to hurricanes it is traditional that at some point they start to list all the different supplies that have been distributed to people and organizations. These can include things like:

  • Cases of water
  • Bags of ice
  • Meals Ready to Eat (MRE)
  • Blue tarps
  • Generators
Now with COVID-19 we have a FEMA April 19th Summary. The equipment and supplies listed include:

  • 57.4 million N95 respirators
  • 77.9 million surgical masks
  • 6.2 million face shields
  • 11.9 million surgical gowns
  • 587 million gloves
  • 10,998 ventilators
  • 8,450 federal medical station beds
Definitely a different product and equipment list.
