The question is, why didn't the American Red in providing some answers not provide answers to all the questions? Not doing so "raises questions!" For the life of me, I cannot figure out why people and institutions do this. Do they think the questioners will get tired and go away? Maybe, I guess. Why not provide your answer, and if the facts are not what you would want them to be, so be it. Get over it! It is much better to get the information out there. One of my mantras is, "Bad news does not get better with age!" Better for you to reveal bad news/facts than others to "expose the information" via an investigation; that really makes you look bad.
American Red Cross not Being Transparent
Just answer the questions -- all of them please!
When you enter the public arena as a "servant," you have the requirement to be transparent about your activities. Lack of transparency in the environment we live in today leads to distrust. Thus many of our institutions are having trouble with trust and the American public in general. This article is but one example, see Red Cross CEO Dodges Congressional Questions About Cuts Around the Country.
