Building Cultures of Preparedness

If you have any interest at all in disaster preparedness for your community, there are a number of ideas contained in the document that might stimulate your thinking. One is the concept of "Culture Brokers" and tapping into their knowledge base before launching an effort in a sub-community of your community.

See page 6 for a 2014 study of preparedness in America. It think those are the first numbers that look semi-realistic to me. We have a long way to go to build a culture of preparedness!

The above is another example of one of Brock Long's priorities — we will have to see if they "stick."
