CDC Is Back in the News

Have you noticed that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is now putting out information?

I went back to look at my email record to find when I started to get emails from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Prior to November, it had been a "death valley" of silence from that agency.

Then, come the beginning of November, I once again started to get emails sharing information on the coronavirus and, most recently, vaccines. Evidently the halter/muzzle has been taken off and they are again the lead in sharing public health information for the administration. Leading up to this point and beginning in March, their communications had been shut down and the White House Coronavirus Task Force was doing the messaging. Now it appears the White House team is in the background and CDC in the lead.
