It has always been a question. Could the telecommunications systems in the United States handle the level of traffic that would be generated in a pandemic? Especially when millions of people are trying to work at home and compete against others who are watching Netflix or playing games on their computers
So far -- knock on wood -- it appears the wired and wireless systems in the USA are holding up OK. It is possible that during times of high traffic, the Internet speed at your house is slower, but you are likely still "connected."
Fortunately, the success comes from these systems being the most modern and well-maintained critical infrastructure here in the nation.
