Digital Trash Bins

If trash is going digital, what's next?

Victor Stanley has a variety of products, but one caught my eye, a digital trash bin.

Why a digital trash bin? You can measure the time between collections. You can know how full the bin is, so the people collecting trash don't have to stop to look, just drive on by — which is more efficient. And how about putting a bomb sniffer in the can (not a dog, but digital), since trash bins are a location where bombs are sometimes deposited.

What else can be digitized to make life more efficient and effective, along with maybe even being safer?
