Disaster Zone Podcast: The Legislative Process in Congress

This is a great week to listen to this.

If ever there was a week to better understand the legislative process in Washington, D.C., this is it!

See today’s Disaster Zone podcast: “The Legislative Process in Congress.” Messy indeed!

Here’s the description of the podcast:

Monica Sanders is a Georgetown University professor. Previously, she was a Senior Committee Counsel for both the House of Representatives and Senate Committees on Homeland Security. The role of committee staff is discussed. The importance of the Budget and Rules Committees is also highlighted. What can you do to influence the making of laws at the national level is also addressed.”
