Disaster Zone Podcast: Three Years Later — What Did We Learn from COVID?

Yes, it has almost been three years from the start of the pandemic.

The actual anniversary of the COVID-19 pandemic is right around the corner — at least for showing up here in the United States and Washington state in particular. It is appropriate to take a few minutes to review some of the events that we all lived and any lessons that we learned from the past three years.

Check out this Disaster Zone podcast: “Three Years Later--What did we learn from COVID?” My guest hails from Washington state. Nathan Weed is the chief of resiliency and health security for the Washington State Department of Health. I hope this podcast does not cause any PTSD events in your personal life by reliving portions of the pandemic!
Eric Holdeman is a contributing writer for Emergency Management magazine and is the former director of the King County, Wash., Office of Emergency Management.
