How the Northwest Healthcare Response Network Has Evolved

With dollars declining we need to find new ways to fund health activities.

Here is another edition of Disaster Zone TV. This time the topic is on the Northwest Healthcare Response Network. What is unique about this new entity is that it is a merger of two health networks and it has converted from a purely government-funded program to that of a nonprofit.

Below you can watch my interview with Onora Lien, interim executive director for the organization. Personally, I hope she is appointed to be the permanent director. Lien has an excellent background and wonderful reputation for regional collaboration. She and her staff are certainly on the cutting edge!
