EMForum Is Going Out of Business

The platform has been a great source of information over the years.

EMForum has been a great source of information about a wide range of topics over the years. Unfortunately, the source of its funding has been via FEMA and evidently that source has now dried up completely.

They were doing webinars before there was such an animal. Over the years they have upgraded their technology, but all good things must come to an end.

We should all thank Avagene and Amy for their years of service to our broader emergency management community. Best wishes!

Their announcement is below:

We are saddened to announce that this week’s EMForum program will be our last. For nearly 17 years it has been our privilege to provide a platform for sharing emergency management information with you, our audience. We thank you for your participation. We especially wish to thank all the speakers who have donated their time and made this effort possible for so long.

We are currently in the process of finding a future home for our program archive, and will provide further information via this mailing list when finalized.

If you have been registered for CEU credits, you may wish to proceed with requesting your certificate. Please see http://www.emforum.org/CEUs.htm for instructions.

It has been our pleasure to know so many fine people who work to serve the public and our best wishes and warm regards to all of you.
