EMP in the News Again

Good news, looks like you might not be dead after all.

I have not read a Popular Mechanics article in many years, so here is your chance: No, North Korea Can't Kill 90 Percent of Americans.

The specifics of the article are about their ability to launch a missile with a nuclear warhead that could put out an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) that would fry electronics in systems that dominate our modern lives.

I won't argue that supposition at all. Do note that at the very end of the article, the author brings up a CME (coronal mass ejection) or solar storm event, which he does give credence to the impacts it would have on our lives.
