Even My Trust Is Waning

My premise has always been to trust people, until they showed themselves to be untrustworthy

In our current political climate, I have become much more circumspect about "all news" and "opinions."  Since it appears to me that truth as a commodity is in short supply.

See this article about new approaches by the Inspector General (IG) at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), FEMA's response to Hurricane Maria won't get initial review under watchdog agency's new approach.

I don't know who to believe these days. See this Wall Street Journal article, Truth Isn’t the Problem — We Are.

Something I learned just this past week is that there isn't a FEMA IG. All the inspector general duties have been consolidated within DHS.
